چکیده

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect MDP containing resin cement and surface treatment Translucent zirconia Ultra translucent on shear bond strength. Material & Methods: Eighty discs were constructed . Samples divided into two groups: Group I: samples (n=20) Gro up II: Each group will be subdivided 2 subgroups according Subgroup A: treated with air abrasion Sub B: left untreated. sub further type: 1: cemented (Universal bond). 2: non (Adper single bon II). All tested subjected Shear strength test.Deboneded examined under scan electron microscope determine their mode failure.Data statistically analyzed recorded. Results: Regarding ceramic material :For cement, had a significantly higher value than ultra zirconia. While for Non-MDP there no significant difference between both materials. untreated samples, cement. Conclusion: use phosphate monomer luting cements freshly air-abraded as simplest most effective way cementation procedure.

Shear bond strength of indirect composite material to monolithic zirconia

PURPOSE This study aimed to evaluate the effect of surface treatments on bond strength of indirect composite material (Tescera Indirect Composite System) to monolithic zirconia (inCoris TZI). MATERIALS AND METHODS Partially stabilized monolithic zirconia blocks were cut into with 2.0 mm thickness. Sintered zirconia specimens were divided into different surface treatment groups: no treatment (...

Bonding agent underneath sealant: shear bond strength to oil-contaminated.

This study evaluated in vitro the shear bond strength of a resin-based pit-and-fissure sealant (Fluroshield - F) associated with either an ethanol-based (Adper Single Bond 2 - SB) or an acetone-based (Prime & Bond - PB) adhesive system under conditions of oil contamination. Mesial and distal enamel surfaces from 30 sound third molars were randomly assigned to 2 groups (n=30): I - no oil contami...

The bond strength of the resin-to-zirconia interface using different bonding concepts.

OBJECTIVES This study investigated the shear bond strength (SBS) and the tensile bond strength (TBS) of the zirconia-to-resin interface using different cement bonding concepts. METHODS Coplanar zirconia specimens were bonded to CoCr-cylinders measuring 5 mm in diameter and 3 mm in height. All bonding areas were first sandblasted with 110 μm Al(2)O(3) (0.28 MPa, 10 s). SBS and TBS were determi...

Fracture Strength of Aged Monolithic and Bilayer Zirconia-Based Crowns

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of design and surface finishing on fracture strength of yttria-tetragonal zirconia polycrystal (Y-TZP) crowns in monolithic (1.5 mm thickness) and bilayer (0.8 mm zirconia coping and 0.7 mm porcelain veneer) configuration after artificial aging. Bovine incisors received crown preparation and Y-TZP crowns were manufactured using CAD/CAM techni...

Shear bond strength in zirconia veneered ceramics using two different surface treatments prior veneering.

Aim of the study was to assess the effect of different surface treatments on the shear bond strength (SBS) of the veneering ceramics to zirconia core. In a shear test the influence of grinding and sandblasting of the zirconia surface on bonding were assessed. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS statistical package (version 17.0, SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) and Microsoft Office Excel ...
